These are the Asters you will find available in our greenhouse beginning in late summer. If you want to try planting your Asters as perennials, they must be protected from winter winds. The earlier you can plant, the better chance your plants will have of surviving the winter. Use root stimulator at planting time to encourage root growth before frost. Mulch with 4-6” of mulch as soon as the ground freezes.

COMMENTS: Days produces beautiful blue flowers that cover the plant. Has an excellent
mounding habit. Combine with other asters or mums for a showy fall display.
HAZY - Aster Hybrid

COMMENTS: Hazy produces dark pink flowers with bright yellow centers that almost completely
cover the medium green foliage on this fine mounding plant.

COMMENTS: Pink Magic asters bloom early with bright pink flowers with yellow centers about
1.5” across. Plants mature to a 2’-3’ size. Do not fertilize when plant is in bloom.
PUFF - Aster Hybrid

FLOWER SIZE: Medium
BLOOM TIME: Very Early to Early
PLANT FORM: Mounded
COMMENTS: Puff produces marvelous, long-lasting, single white flowers. A great plant
with a mounding habit. Quite strong and more tolerant of the weather than
some other varieties of white asters.
